Salamon Asset Management GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for the asset management of the various shipping companies.

The funds and assets are managed in close cooperation with the ship managers, who are responsible for the operational and technical management of the ships in day-to-day business on the basis of a service agreement. The asset management comprises the classical management tasks for the individual fund companies. The focus is on the observation of the relevant shipping and financial markets, managing the employment of the ships, credit, interest and currency issues, cost monitoring and the recognition of the tax concept. Salamon Fondsverwaltung GmbH takes over the controlling of the fund companies including long-term budget forecasts, is responsible for the accounting and prepares the annual financial statements as well as the annual report of the companies.
