A BWTS (Ballast Water Treatment System) was also installed on the SAG Panama tanker Cape Taft as part of the 3rd class extension that has just been completed. This means that all four ships in the SAG fleet are now equipped with a ballast water treatment system. The work was carried out at the Fujian Huadong shipyard in China in October. Great praise was given to Columbia Shipmanagement and the shipyard, who managed to work closely together to keep the project under budget and on time.
